Park your car for free at our hotel in Hobart
Tasmania is a wonderful touring destination, and there is no better way to see everything that the state has to offer than via your own car, that's why we provide free car parking at our hotel in Hobart.
Parking is at a premium, hard to find throughout the Hobart city and Salamanca. We are proud to offer secure free parking in our on-site mechanical car stacker. There are some limitations on the size of the vehicle that can park within the car stacker as the vehicle must be under 4.90m in length, and 1.70m in height before further assessment of suitable spaces available are done on the day of arrival.
Our parking is subject to availability on a first come, first served basis. If you have an unusual vehicle or parking request, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Unfortunately, motorcycles or bicycles are not able to be accommodated in the car stacker but we can advise of the best alternate options.
In order to use the car stacker for the duration of your stay, you will need to pre-arrange it with our reservation staff, arriving during reception hours, so that our staff can provide you with instructions to operate the car stacker and allocate you a secure space. If you are going to arrive after hours, there is usually available free overnight parking on the street right outside the hotel across the street, where you can leave your car until morning.
There are on-street parking options near the hotel, which are free overnight between 4pm and 10:30am, and completely unrestricted on weekends and Public Holidays.
We do not currently have any EV charging points on site at the hotel, but are working on methods to install some into our mechanical car stacker.
